American Cooling Technology Announces Organization Changes

Mr. James Schreiber and Mr. J. R. Lucas, founders of American Cooling Technology (ACT), announced today the promotion of Mr. Dave Oberdorff to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Oberdorff has been the General Manager of ACT since starting with the company in 2011.

“Dave has been instrumental since coming on board in helping ACT almost triple its revenues. This change in Dave’s title simply reflects the way the organization is working on a day to day basis and allows us to all focus our talents on what we do best,” said Messrs. Schreiber and Lucas.

Mr. Schreiber will continue to lead the Engineering and Technical Group at ACT as Vice President focusing on new product development as well as the ongoing Engineering support of current products, while Mr. Lucas as Vice President will continue to head up ACT’s Sales and Marketing activities.

“Coming to ACT turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and it has been exciting and a real pleasure working with the team here to help make ACT the premier Bus Air Conditioning supplier in the country,” said Mr. Oberdorff. “It was a little scary leaving Carrier after so many years but I could not have made a better choice,” continued Mr. Oberdorff.
